In this guide, we mainly talk about how to install and set up the FTP server on a VPS server. Here, we take FileZilla as an example, which is one of the best FTP clients.
Install FileZilla server
(1). Run the FileZilla server installation.

(2). Click on [next] to move on next step.

(3). Choose a path to save your FTP server.

(4). Please choose [Install as service, started with Windows (default)], then click the [next] menu.

(5). Install your FTP server.

(6). Run your FTP server, not: you can set the password and port by yourself on FTP manage page.

Set up your own groups
(1). Login to your FTP server, click on the [Edit]–>[Groups] to move to the next step.
(2). Add a group with a special name.
(3). Click on the [Share folder], and select a folder which you want.
(4). Set as home dir.
Set up your own FTP user
(1). Login to your FTP server, click on the [Edit]–>[User]to move to the next step.
(2). Add a user, and input the name you want.
(3). Set the password.
(4). Add the path and folders you want.
(5). Change the permissions.
Now, you can use the FTP client to login your FTP accounts.
